TULLOCH GUEST HOUSE
VIRTUAL eDESIGN
Our clients came to us perplexed by what to do with their guest house space. The narrow layout, odd wall bump-outs, and exposed appliances made it challenging to plot a functional layout. They wanted the guest house to be a fun space for their young family to lounge after getting back from a day of boating on the lake. They also wanted a desk area and the ability to convert the space into a bedroom at night. We drew inspiration from their magnetism and lake lifestyle to create a modern, funky, and functional space. The bump-outs were painted over to look intentional, and the faux wainscoting effect was carried across the whole room. The closet was turned into an office nook, and we found a modular sofa that converts into a full-size bed. The bold Keith Haring pattern wallpaper turned the laundry eyesore into a feature. We’re tackling their bathroom next. Stay tuned for that project reveal in the coming weeks!
